SBK Gifts layaway is a store service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in 6 installment payments made once a month without any interest.

Layaway can currently be applied to purchases made on sbkgifts.com and in our Cincinnati retail store!

Layaway Simple Step-by-Step Guide

1. Shop the SBKGifts.com site.
2. Add all items you wish to place on layaway in your cart.
3. When you're finished shopping, go to CHECKOUT.
4. Complete all your order information: contact, shipping, and delivery information.
5. On the PAYMENT section, there will be multiple options. Select the MONTHLY LAYAWAY PAYMENTS option.
6. Click PAY NOW button.
7. Call the store, 1.877.607.2356, during regular business hours to provide your credit card payment information by phone to make your 20% deposit and place your card on file for monthly automatic payments.

Yes, the order total being placed on layaway must be at least $150 or greater. Layaways less than $150 will be automatically cancelled.

Acceptable forms of payment for layaway are Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or debit card. Cash is accepted in person, in our retail store.

A credit check is not required for SBK Gifts/ Story Book Kids Layaways.

All customers are required to make minimum 20% deposit for the first layaway payment. The remaining balance is divided into 5 equal payments and billed on the 15th of the month to your credit card on file. If you choose to make additional payments before your scheduled pay dates, you may do so by calling the store.

At this time, we are unable to change the monthly layaway payment due date. The layaway payment due date is the 15th of the month.

Layaway is only offered to our customers who have a US billing address, US shipping address and a US Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit card), or American Express. Customers with international billing addresses and shipping addresses will not be able to set up a layaway with Afterpay.

Yes, you may have multiple layaways. Each layaway is subject to the terms and conditions of the SBK Gifts layaway plan.

Once a SBK Gifts/ Story Book Kids Layaway has been placed - additions to the layaway are not permitted. You will need to create another layaway for the new items. Each layaway is subject to the terms and conditions of the SBK Gifts layaway plan.

In the event you wish to remove item/s from your layaway, contact us by phone. You are required to complete your layaway payments in full. Upon payment in full, you will be issued a store merchandise credit for the purchase price of the item/s you requested removed from your layaway.

All items on the layaway must be cancelled to qualify - a partial cancellation of item/s is not available. Refunds of payments made will be provided in the form of store merchandise credit to be applied towards a future purchase.

Absolutely! If that works best for you. Just know, you are also welcome to take advantage of the entire 6 months if you wish.

In the event a layaway payment fails, we will send you send an email and leave you a phone message letting you know a layaway payment has failed. We provide a seven (7) calendar day grace period to complete a failed layaway payment without a late fee. If a failed layaway payment is not paid during the grace period, a 5% late fee is applied.

Your items are held for you at our retail store while you make layaway payments. Upon payment in full, your items will be shipped and delivered to the specified address. Shipping and delivery notifications will be emailed to you for estimated arrival time.

Absolutely! If you are Kringle Rewards member, you are awarded your Kringle Points for the layaway when it is paid in full and shipped.
